Round Up #8: Cassian, The Exit Missile, Crystal Castles, Adam Kesher

Posted on Updated on

T-minus one week until school is finished! This should be the last round-up from me this month. I’ll finally be able to elaborate a little bit more on artists in the coming weeks. So until then keep rocking out to these… some are new, some are old but all are stamped with the wholesome goodness of Grade A quality- just like your morning eggs!

Cassian beats are spectacular! I ran into tons of new stuff that sparked up my library last week AND… I think you all will simply love these. If not well I’ll try again later to tease you with something similar. The Australian native has made quite the name for himself while reinvigorating dance floors everywhere.

Did you like those? I’m sure you’ll like some past Cassian too- find it HERE!

If those tracks didn’t do it for you maybe this will. The Exit Missile’s Sidewinder contains my new favourite laid back funk beat. It’s absolutely delicious in almost every way. And to make things even more crazier the crew slaps it with some synth that accents the track so well.

I was so excited about the Midnight Conspiracy remix to Crystal Castles Crimewave last week I went searching for more remixes this week. Alex Zelenka’s spin to Untrust Us is a light hypnotic wave of electro. Absolutely perfect for anytime of the day. The Chicago-based DJ has a wide variety of similar ’emotronic’ tracks available on his myspace. Check em out there.

The last for this batch is Adam Kesher’s new single Hour of the Wolf. I find it real catchy and definitely something that will help you get from point A to point B. If you are an Adam Kesher fan I don’t have to tell you how innovative he can be when it comes to producing his own stuff. The new single stays true to this statement. With positive vibes throughout it’s easy to be infected with a sense of overwhelming happiness.
